INTRODUCING LAND ROVER

In 1947, the conceptual blueprint of Land Rover took shape, culminating in its grand debut at the Amsterdam Motor Show on April 30, 1948. A decade later, the Series II emerged, featuring enhanced specifications such as a robust engine and broader chassis.


THE LAUNCH OF THE RANGE ROVER

LAND ROVER'S OWNERSHIP

Originally under the aegis of the Rover Company until 1967, Land Rover subsequently became an autonomous entity within the British Leyland Motors conglomerate. Following acquisitions by BMW and later Ford, Tata Motors assumed ownership in 2008, culminating in the formation of Jaguar Land Rover Limited, ushering in a new chapter in Land Rover's storied legacy.
