Protect and paint your galvanised chassis with these all-inclusive kits. Everything you need to get your chassis protected and looking amazing.

Schutz Kit
NOTE: This kit will paint a Defender 90/110 or a Series 88/109 chassis. For a Defender 130 chassis you will need a little extra. Please call us.
What's Included:
- 4x GIO 1L Stubby Schutz Tins (BLACK)
- FX11 De-Luxe Schultz chassis paint gun
- FXDegreaser 1000ML
- 5 Piece Nylon Abrasive Filament Brush
- Buzzweld 1K Multi-Thinner
Application Preparation:
1. Apply FXDegreaser through a snow foam, brush/roller, pressure sprayer, or schutz gun
2. Allow to soak for 5-10 minutes, then wash off with preferably warm plain water
3. Scuff the galvanised finish to remove surface crud using the Nylon Filament brush set
Application Process:
4. Mix/shake schutz well, add thinner if required
5. Screw FX11 gun to can, and set pressure at gun to 75PSI
6. Point gun at test piece and depress trigger
7. Unscrew nozzle until paint comes out sufficiently
8. Apply to chassis in even overlapping coats
9. Ensure paint does not fingerprint mark prior to applying subsequent coats
Aerosol Kit
NOTE: This kit will paint a Defender 90/110 or a Series 88/109 chassis. For a Defender 130 chassis you will need a little extra. Please call us.

- GIO 400ML Aerosols x12 (BLACK)
- FXDegreaser 1000ML
- 5 Piece Nylon Abrasive Filament Brush
Application Preparation:
1. Apply FXDegreaser through a snow foam, brush/roller, pressure sprayer, or schutz gun
2. Allow to soak for 5-10 minutes, then wash off with preferably warm plain water

Application Process:
4. Invert can and clear nozzle after shaking
5. Apply the entire kit in even overlapping coats

Impact Fabrications Limited, founder and owner of Shielder Chassis, is a family-owned business established in 1991. We started out manufacturing steel products for a number of specialist industries and now focus solely on manufacturing Land Rover parts.
